Mesotherapy

Developed in the 1950s, Mesotherapy was originally used to treat conditions including rheumatism and joint injuries and to improve blood circulation. Mesotherapy is now used in the cosmetic field for skin rejuvenation treatments, and also for localized fat treatment, including improving cellulite.

The procedure
Micro-injections are given in a series of lines, in a grid pattern, penetrating the skin by no more than 4mm. If a patient finds this uncomfortable an anaesthetic cream can be applied first, though generally this is not needed.

  • Elimination of Fat and Cellulite
  • Reduced Circumference
  • Skin Toning and Tightening
  • Improved Body Silhouette
  • Enhanced muscle definition
  • More Even and Proportionate Contours

The cocktail is injected directly to the areas being treated. Treatments of about 15 minutes each are administered weekly, and patients usually begin seeing results by the fourth treatment. The injections even skin tone while breaking down fat cells and the fibrous connective bonds that cause cellulite. As a result, the fat cells emulsify and are naturally flushed out of the body. When this happens, patients see smoother, cellulite-free legs, hips, thighs, arms, and abdominals. However, the treatment is also effective under the chin.
